Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interior Decorator to join our team at Michael Aiduss Interior Design.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to develop interior schemes, including furniture, fabrics, decorative lighting, art, and accessories.

• Prepare presentations, material boards, and mood boards for clients.

• Source decorative items and maintain a thorough knowledge of the market.

• Interpret architectural plans and communicate effectively with the design team, vendors, and clients.

• Prepare and issue FF&E specifications, budgets, and schedules.

• Oversee the installation of decorative items and maintain meticulous documentation on projects.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience working in residential interior design or retail design.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
