Automotive Dismantler

At LKQ, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Dismantler to join our team. As a key member of our dismantling team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently removing high-quality auto parts and usable core parts from vehicles.

• Dismantle vehicles within the allotted time frame while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Label and tag parts for proper storage and inventory.
• Inspect and verify the quality and type of parts removed.
• Ensure all necessary tools are maintained and up-to-date.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures and moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate should be able to lift at least 75 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
