Job Overview

This position involves delivering patient-centered care to acutely ill patients, working closely with RNs to develop and implement effective care plans. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable about nursing processes, and demonstrate a passion for delivering compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards of practice and collaborating with RNs to achieve positive patient outcomes.

  2. Assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient care plans, working collaboratively with RNs to ensure seamless delivery of care.

  3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment responses.

  4. Administer medications as ordered by physicians, maintaining awareness of potential side effects and ensuring safe medication management practices.

  5. Participate in patient education, empowering patients and their families to make informed decisions about their care.

  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.

  7. Demonstrate proficiency in various clinical skills, including sterile procedures, wound care, and vital sign measurement.

  8. Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
