Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. As a key member of our Animal Health International team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Filling: Pick products from stock according to wave pick lists and organize them on carts.
  • Order Checking: Verify that the picked items match the invoice by comparing manufacturer names, item numbers, and descriptions.
  • Packing: Count and verify the quantity of items, match shipping addresses, and select correct packaging and labels.
  • Manifests: Weigh packages, determine transportation methods, and verify labeling.
  • Expeditor: Process orders requiring special handling.
Additional Functions
  • Transact business in accordance with Patterson Companies' business code of ethics and conduct.
  • Align with Patterson Companies' Purpose, Vision, and Values statement.
  • Use assigned warehouse equipment/machinery to perform assigned tasks.
  • Meet/exceed assigned performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
  • Handle hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to company processes and applicable laws.
Job Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and count.
  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
