ERM is seeking an experienced Land Services professional to manage projects within the gas and electric transmission and distribution industry. The ideal candidate will oversee projects for clients across various sectors, negotiating legal land agreements necessary for facility construction and maintenance.
The preferred locations for this role are in the Midwest region, with consideration for candidates from multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects to meet client expectations for scope, budget, and quality
- Develop client relationships and identify project support opportunities
- Negotiate legal land agreements for facility construction
- Assist with land research, valuation studies, and permit applications
- Investigate damage claims and supervise staff and subcontractors
- Develop proposals, budgets, and project plans
- Manage project land budgets and financial progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in environmental studies or related field; or 5+ years of experience
- 5+ years of consulting experience in impact assessments and environmental reviews
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and develop growth strategies
- Experience with power generation, renewable energy projects, and client relationship management
- Technical competence, teambuilding skills, and integrity
