Contract Type: 1-Year Contract with Potential for Permanent Placement
Location: Remote (Candidates must be local)
Schedule: Standard Hours: 8am-5pm (Flexible, with occasional in-office presence required)
Travel Requirements: Attendance at research conferences is necessary
Compensation: Annual Salary of $120,000 (approximately $57.69 per hour)
Role Summary: The Clinical Operations Manager will act as a vital connection between the technical team and organizational leadership. This position demands a strong grasp of technology, particularly within the research sector, to efficiently oversee daily operations and support the strategic expansion of the product. You will work closely with a compact team of developers, a QA/support individual, and a marketing/admin professional. Experience in managing offshore contractors, especially in the technology field, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the leadership team and technical staff, ensuring effective communication and project implementation.
- Supervise the daily functions of the CTMS, ensuring that the software aligns with user needs and continues to develop.
- Manage relationships with external contractors, including a team of developers located internationally.
- Facilitate the growth of the CTMS by assisting in expanding its client base and enhancing the software's features.
- Occasionally travel to research conferences to remain informed on industry developments and represent the organization.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, ideally in a technology or research-related domain.
- Strong comprehension of software development and management methodologies.
- Experience in managing remote teams, particularly international contractors, is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a flexible, remote-first work environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to facilitate interactions between technical teams and senior management.
