Job Summary:

Campus Life & Style is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.

About the Role:
  • Salary: $62,500 - $67,000 per year.

We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to lead our maintenance team in providing exceptional service to our residents and staff. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience managing building systems, supervisory experience, and knowledge of building automation systems and life safety systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute all company maintenance programs, establishing protocols and compliance.
  • Build a team of highly motivated, skilled, and productive individuals who represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain and manage building services and preventative maintenance programs to industry best practices.
  • Hire, train, and develop Maintenance team members, holding them accountable for delivering a high level of service.
  • Conduct regular inspection tours of buildings, interior common areas, and exterior of the property, equipment, and surrounding grounds for deficiencies, potential safety, health, or code problems, and necessary repairs.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance work, ensuring quality of work performed is top-notch.
  • Manage the Technicians to ensure all service requests are completed and are appropriately and accurately documented.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience managing building systems in student housing.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience with building automation systems and life safety systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
