We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels and movements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving goods, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure warehouse staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of warehouse staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
The Warehouse Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to warehouse operations and equipment. The role requires the ability to work in a team environment, with strong communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to travel to other locations as needed.
