Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and the Physician's Assistant provide medical care to patients throughout the lifespan in the Emergency Department. This role requires collaboration with a CHMG physician to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtains patient health history and performs physical examination.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnoses acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice.
  • Prescribes and manages medications within the practice standards.
  • Provides preventive care, screenings, and patient education according to guidelines.
  • Meets productivity standards of the practice/department.
  • Documents care provided in the medical record according to practice/department standards.
Requirements
  • Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician's Assistant.
  • Licensure required: NH License as APRN or Physician's Assistant, Current DEA License.
  • Prior Emergency Medicine provider experience preferred.
