Job Summary

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to support two elementary school sites in the Bremerton area. This is a full-time contract position for the 2024-2025 school year, offering a supportive work environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students in need, promoting emotional and behavioral well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive educational plans, ensuring students receive the necessary support and accommodations.
  • Develop and implement interventions to address students' emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies, ensuring students' needs are met and their potential is maximized.
  • Provide training and support to staff on mental health issues and strategies, promoting a culture of understanding and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid Washington State School Psychologist Certification through OSPI.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students.
  • Knowledge of special education regulations and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
