Company Overview:
We are currently in search of a Geotechnical Engineer to enhance our Engineering Department. The selected candidate will be instrumental in developing design proposals for various projects, which include estimating material quantities.

Our portfolio encompasses diverse projects such as gravity retaining walls, erosion control, and soil stabilization techniques.

The ideal candidate should be located within a reasonable commuting distance from our office.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Examine project documentation, including bid drawings and geotechnical assessments.
  • Conduct design calculations and create drawings with minimal oversight.
  • Work collaboratively with AutoCAD drafters to produce project drawings.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle multiple tasks and deadlines with efficiency.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of industry products and trends.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US citizen or possess authorization to work in the US.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the design of earth retaining structures.
  • Must hold an EIT certification.
  • Familiarity with FHWA and AASHTO standards related to earth retaining structures.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a dedication to professional growth.

$55,000 - $65,000 annually
