Key Responsibilities:
As a Practical Nurse, your primary focus will be on understanding and addressing the needs of our patients. You will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
- Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and uphold the highest standards of care.
- Ensure patient safety by following established protocols for medication administration and infection control.
- Support physicians and medical staff in delivering quality care, including assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
- Participate in training new staff and coordinating activities within the team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- A valid Practical Nurse License in the State of Colorado.
- A strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following are preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations.
- Certification in I.V. therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
