EEG Technologist

Catholic Health Physicians Practices is seeking a skilled EEG Tech/Neuro Tech to join our clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing high-quality EEGs and evoked response testing.

• Entry of patient demographic and clinical data to support reporting and integration with electronic medical records
• Performing all EEGs with a focus on quality tracings
• Management of equipment calibration and maintenance, ensuring adequate inventory levels for consumable supplies
• Ordering of supplies and setup/cleanup of testing environment

• High School graduate or G.E.D.
• Successful completion of EEG training from an accredited school
• Competence in detection of cardiac arrhythmias
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in an acute care setting (new graduates accepted)
• REEG certification preferred, but not mandatory if candidate has equivalent experience

• Ability to operate EEG and Neurodiagnostic Testing equipment
• Extended periods of walking and sitting
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach, and handle delicate objects
• Must be able to lift and position patients
• Excellent verbal and auditory skills for clear communication with patients, physicians, families, and care team members
