We are seeking a skilled MRI technologist to operate MRI equipment and create scans as per physicians' directions at Accede Solutions Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Screening patients and explaining procedures to them
- Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Training junior MRI technologists
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during scans
- Performing regular inspections of MRI equipment and scheduling maintenance and repairs
- Positioning patients and completing MRI scans according to physicians' specifications
- Ensuring MRI rooms are kept clean, tidy, and safe
- Writing reports and escalating problems to stakeholders
- Carrying out quality assurance procedures and implementing improvements
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Valid license and certification may be required
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and observational skills
- Self-starter with good time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions in stressful environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
