Professional Training Administrator

The Trillium Staffing company is seeking a skilled Professional Training Administrator to join their Engineering Operational Excellence & Business Operations team.
About the RoleThis role involves supporting the development of training plans, setting up training classes, recording training data, and assisting with uploading documents to the Knowledge Management System. The successful candidate will also coordinate and follow up on engineering inputs for new business proposals and serve as a backup person for compiling capital project data.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with engineering leaders on training needs and set up training for employees
- Coordinate with suppliers that provide training courses
- Organize delivery of the training (e.g., rooms, equipment, security requirements, attendee communication, etc.)
- Maintain training data (e.g., attendee lists, course feedback, training cost, training plan, etc.)
- Support upload of knowledge artifacts into Microsoft SharePoint Knowledge Management System
- Provide monthly status reports for training budget and training courses completed
- Coordinate engineer access to proposal management tool
- Support the engineering proposal lead by extracting status reports and follow up on proposal input and approval
- Status capital project approvals and budget and compile capital project planning data
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent organizational, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work multiple requirements concurrently
- Microsoft SharePoint experience
- Experience coordinating training
- Experience providing budget status
- Familiarity with engineering processes
- Able to work overtime when required
- Limited travel may be required
- Ability to report on-site as the primary work location
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
