At Rolling Hills Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sanitation Specialist. This is a part-time position that offers an advertised hourly rate plus potential for additional compensation based on previous experience.
About the JobThis role involves maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in various settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for dusting, damp wiping furniture and fixtures, cleaning lunchrooms and kitchens, and emptying waste bins and recycling containers.
Responsibilities:- Dust and damp wipe all surfaces, including furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, and external surfaces of cupboards and shelves.
- Clean lunchrooms and kitchens, including floors, counters, and appliances.
- Empty waste bins and recycling containers, and transport them to designated collection points.
- Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, as needed.
- Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats, including edges and behind furniture.
- Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
- Maintain and clean restrooms, including mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers, and partitions.
- Clean all entrance glass, inside and out, to remove smudges and fingerprints.
To be successful in this role, you will need good communication skills, knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them, and knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners. You should also have the ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces, good organizational skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $15-$20 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
