Rural Medicine Specialist for VA Eastern Colorado

**Location:** Lamar, CO
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care Health Team at the Veterans Eastern Colorado Health Care System, Lamar VA Clinic.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience and be board certified/board eligible. The primary care provider will function as an independent care provider in the management of patients and be part of an interdisciplinary care team with access to state-of-the-art medicine and advanced medical technologies.
The clinic operates under a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, where the PCP works closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for approximately 450 patients.
**About the Role:**
As a Rural Medicine Specialist, you will:
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Care for patients with complex medical needs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
**What We Offer:**
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $200,000 to $243,000, including biennial longevity pay increases and an annual performance pay bonus up to $15,000. You will also enjoy a robust benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
