About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce images of organs on photographic film.
  • Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders, administer and record dosages as needed.
  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure accurate and safe scanning.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program.
  • AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification.
  • Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
