The Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement will play a critical role in driving Berklee's strategic vision forward through bold and innovative philanthropic initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive institutional advancement strategy that leverages Berklee's unique strengths and assets.
- Collaborate with the President and senior leaders to identify and pursue strategic partnerships and opportunities for growth.
- Oversee the advancement team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure exceptional performance and results.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy and generosity across campus, encouraging all members of the Berklee community to engage in fundraising efforts.
- 10+ years of experience in development, alumni relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and change management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A deep commitment to the mission and values of Berklee College of Music.
