Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting anesthesia providers with the administration and monitoring of anesthesia, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

• Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on various technical equipment used in the OR.
• Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, and refer complex issues to technical repair personnel.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a regular schedule of equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Organize and manage the anesthesia workroom, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Stock and maintain anesthesia workstations, and coordinate inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Assist anesthesia providers in setting up supplies and equipment for surgical cases.
• Perform daily safety checks on anesthesia delivery machines.
• Assist with patient positioning and support for regional anesthesia procedures.

• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Possess a practical knowledge of basic instruments and treatment procedures commonly used in anesthesia administration.
