As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians, and contributing to the development of care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with various medical conditions, including those related to oncology and head and neck disorders.
- Document patient care in medical records, including patient histories, psychosocial histories, and health status.
- Conduct patient interviews, perform physical examinations, and order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians to diagnose medical problems, develop care plans, and prescribe treatment.
- Assist in the development of care plans and provide education to patients and families on disease management and treatment options.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the relevant credentialing bodies.
- At least one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required; ACLS may be required in some areas.
