Role Purpose

The Production Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a seamless flow of fiberglass production, ensuring that quality and safety are paramount in daily operations. This position involves winding and storing fibrous materials, and it is important to note that the role is physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting and managing Fiberglass bobbins from production lines to designated storage locations.
  • Conducting necessary daily maintenance on assigned production lines.
  • Identifying and resolving issues in the fabrication process while upholding product quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to maintaining high product quality.

Compensation: Starting pay is $17.75, increasing to $18.25 after the initial 90 days, with eligibility for bonuses.

Work Schedule:

  • This position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift, changing every 4 weeks between day and night shifts.

Probationary Period:

  • All new hires will undergo a probationary period for the first 90 days of employment.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of lifting over 50 pounds consistently for 12 hours.
  • Ability to work safely in high-temperature environments.
  • Comfortable working in wet conditions.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in operating machinery safely.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Capacity to stand for long durations in a fast-paced setting.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Meet the physical demands of the work environment.
  • Ability to bend repeatedly.
