Scorer and Game Official

At the City of Marietta, GA, we are seeking a skilled Scorer and Game Official to join our team as a part-time seasonal position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate score records and controlling game clocks during basketball games as part of our department's basketball league. They will also be required to inspect scoreboard and game clock equipment before each game, notify officials of any issues, and keep a detailed log of scores and statistics.

• Working knowledge of basketball rules and proper timekeeping procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• Visual acuity to read scoreboard and official signals.

The estimated salary for this position is $12.00 per hour. This rate reflects the city's compensation package and is competitive in the local market.
