Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of our residents through therapy.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients/residents based on their medical charts and physician orders.
  • Plan, direct, and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive problems.
  • Administer and interpret specialized speech tests, and instruct residents, families, and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques and diet recommendations.
  • Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of the rehab team.
