Join Our Team as an Electronic Assembly Soldering Specialist
Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability in soldered connections, essential for the performance and integrity of electronic assemblies in critical applications? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
In this position, you will be responsible for not only performing soldering tasks but also engaging in activities such as cleaning, reworking, and fabricating parts, components, and subassemblies. You will utilize various tools and specialized equipment, including PANDA.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Executing soldering tasks to create parts or components, using basic hand tools, specialized fasteners, soldering irons, and measuring instruments.
- Following written work instructions, process sheets, and technical drawings with accuracy.
- Conducting hand soldering operations on Through Hole, SMT, or Flex products while utilizing scopes, and performing preparatory tasks such as wire cutting, stripping, twisting, tinning, and soldering.
- Cleaning parts and manually placing components during production, using in-line cleaning, hand cleaning, or vapor degreasing methods.
- Accurately measuring and recording product data while strictly adhering to ESD procedures.
- Potentially operating soldering equipment such as solder waves, selective solder machines, and surface mount equipment.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferably with skills in microscope soldering or holding IPC-610 & J-STD certifications.
- A commitment to obtaining J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certifications to qualify for the Solder position.
- The ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as interpret blueprints.
- The capability to perform repetitive hand motions during soldering tasks.
- Flexibility to work in both seated and standing positions, as soldering tasks may require.
Your Work Schedule:
This position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, offering a competitive starting wage with opportunities for overtime.
