Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Utility Assistant to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Food Service Utility Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed, and comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • No previous experience is required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
