We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Resident Care Specialist to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Western Michigan - Staffing. As a Resident Care Specialist, you will provide personalized care and support to patients in assisted living facilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitor and report patient conditions to the supervising nurse (LPN or RN).
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in personal care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
