Job Title: Outpatient LVN

At Driscoll Children's Hospital, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient LVN to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Outpatient LVN will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to deliver effective patient care within the framework of our hospital's vision of excellence and integrated care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collects QA data as delegated
  • Reports changes in patient care outcomes
  • Follows research protocols as ordered
  • Ensures safe care by using chain of command
  • Performs focused assessments
  • Recognizes and reports actual health problems
  • Reports pertinent patient response to interventions
  • Recommends modification for plan of care to RN on focused assessment
  • Uses chain of command to obtain appropriate health care response as an advocate for the patient
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current LVN license in the State of Texas
  • BLS Certified before hire
  • Certification in specialty preferred
