Job Announcement

We are seeking a skilled Home Visitor to join our team. As a Home Visitor, you will provide home visiting and parent education services to eligible teen parents, and participate in group support services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide home visiting and parent education services to eligible teen parents
  • Participate in group support services
  • Serve as a role model and provide support and encouragement to parents and their families
  • Track, record, and maintain participant data as required
  • Participate in site visits and community outreach
  • Disseminate materials detailing the need for early prenatal care, parenting education, and prevention of child abuse
  • Participate in on-the-job training in infant care, nutrition, parenting skills, childbirth education, and child development
Requirements
  • High school diploma and three to five years of early childhood experience or bachelor's degree in social work, early childhood education, human services, or related field and one to three years of early childhood experience
  • Travel required; reliable transportation, valid MA driver's license, auto insurance, registration, and a safe driving record required
  • Knowledge of community resources helpful; excellent written and spoken English language skills required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese preferred
