- Execute tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership quality standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using modern diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and more.
- Perform thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs.
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and/or Service Manager.
- Achieve and maintain GM Technician Training Certification(s).
- Previous experience with GM vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Completion of a Certified Auto Tech training program is beneficial but not required.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Possession of a NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector's License.
- GM Training and Certifications are advantageous.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality are essential.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a customer-focused team.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screening and background check.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
