Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership quality standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using modern diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and more.
  • Perform thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs.
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and/or Service Manager.
  • Achieve and maintain GM Technician Training Certification(s).
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with GM vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Completion of a Certified Auto Tech training program is beneficial but not required.
  • ASE certifications are a plus.
  • Possession of a NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector's License.
  • GM Training and Certifications are advantageous.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality are essential.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a customer-focused team.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug screening and background check.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
