Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer to join our Electrophysiology division. In this role, you will support manufacturing and design teams in enhancing product quality and productivity through process improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in process validations and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers on proper validation techniques and industry-standard methodologies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve production performance to meet customer requirements and business goals, leveraging data-driven insights and analytical skills.
- Implement corrective actions to drive operational improvements and reduce waste, utilizing lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support new product introductions and process development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in continuous improvement programs in medical device manufacturing, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing product quality.
- Expertise in conducting process validations and lean manufacturing techniques, with a strong understanding of GMP and ISO regulations.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements, with the ability to lead global technology transfer projects.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bioprosthetic heart valve tissue development or implantable device development, with a strong understanding of related technologies and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications such as ASQ CQE, demonstrating expertise in quality management and continuous improvement.
