Job Summary

Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and collecting medical history.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing medical records.
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in orthopedic or pain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
