About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at AAR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex engineering products, processes, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop original designs or adaptations of existing designs, utilizing CAD systems and finite element analysis software.
  • Prepare and present preliminary drawings, sketches, or diagrams to obtain confirmation of approach, concept, and technique.
  • Conduct presentations with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to obtain input on project objectives and schedules.
  • Supervise detailers in the accomplishment of projects or assignments.
  • Participate in initial studies and cost estimates for proposed projects and suggest changes to facilitate manufacture and assembly.
  • Prepare bill of materials and standards or specifications and participate in the development of project budgets, schedules, and release dates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year college or university, or eight years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and disciplines in their application.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the field.
  • Outstanding performance as an Engineer.
  • Proven written and oral communications, technical presentation, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
