Astronautics Corporation of America is a leading provider of secure avionics equipment and systems for the commercial and military aerospace industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineering Intern to join our Oak Creek, WI team.

As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering staff on actual customer projects, supporting the development, verification, and maintenance of system definition in Primary Flight displays, Secure Network Servers, Data Concentration Units, or Flight Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in systems development activities, including requirement specification and design definition.
  • Perform system verification activities, including test definition, test execution, and review of lifecycle artifacts.
  • Integrate and debug executable code on avionics hardware platforms.
  • Support the generation of lifecycle documentation for avionic systems in pursuit of formal certification with the FAA and foreign certification authorities.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior or senior standing, making progress towards an undergraduate degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Biomedical, Computer, Mechanical, Software, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  • Working knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to work full-time onsite during the summer of 2025.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
