Job Overview

At Tech-24, a leading commercial food service repair company, we are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect equipment and components to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Complete service tickets according to company procedures and standards.
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels to ensure necessary parts are available.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and uniforms to the highest standards.
  • Set a positive example for less experienced technicians and promote a culture of excellence within the company.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Standard computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Industry-standard hand tools and a willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Universal EPA certification is preferred.
