Based in Indianapolis, Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services (CAMFS) has established itself as a prominent fleet maintenance provider in the nation.

CAMFS specializes in delivering on-site mobile maintenance and repair solutions across the country, catering to light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. With over 20 service centers nationwide, CAMFS offers a range of services, including accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repairs. Supported by a 24/7 in-house call center, CAMFS is committed to providing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to fleets at any time and location.

CAMFS is currently seeking a Class A Truck Operator to join our Shop Team, contributing to the company's future expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport commercial vehicles for repairs or post-repair services between our maintenance facility and our clients in the local area, ensuring you are home every evening.
  • Collect and deliver parts from local suppliers and distribution centers back to our maintenance facility.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by exceeding client expectations.
  • Support the achievement of Maintenance Shop departmental goals and objectives.
  • Make parts runs to suppliers and deliver to shops and mobile technicians.
  • Assist in maintaining organized parts shelves for technicians.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
  • Transport customer trailers using our tractor to and from the shop and other locations.
  • Deliver customer trucks as required.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Participate in management meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, candidates may possess a different combination of education or experience.
  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in CDL driving.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle heavy equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and following maps, routes, and GPS systems.
  • Experience in roles demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities; capable of effective communication at all organizational levels.
  • Dependable, organized, and committed to excellence.
  • Positive attitude, strong instincts, and self-motivation.
  • Familiarity with local geography.
  • High energy, adaptability, and a robust work ethic.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible for a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off each month, along with seven paid holidays throughout the year. Additional paid time off may be available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
