Job Summary

This role requires the provision of safe and efficient shuttle transportation of Mercy Hospital staff.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete a DOT log sheet for each one-week period, detailing hours worked and estimated driving hours.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety.
  • Operate the shuttle in a safe and efficient manner, following assigned routes.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and security as needed, and stay in touch with fellow drivers via cell phone.
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled and cleaned at the end of each shift.
  • Be prepared to work beyond scheduled shift completion times or come in early to meet company needs.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Northeast Mobile Health and its liability insurance carrier.
  • A courteous and friendly attitude, with a commitment to treating staff and clients with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
