Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Communication: Continuously evaluate patient needs through a holistic approach and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide personalized education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Compliance and Quality Improvement: Ensure adherence to hospital policies and accrediting agencies, actively participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality.
  • Medical History Documentation and Medication Management: Accurately document patient medical history and medication information, verifying physician orders and ensuring safe delivery of prescribed treatments.
Requirements:
  • Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License
  • BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 1-3 years RN experience in a bedside care setting preferred
  • Oncology experience and recent ICU and/or step-down experience are highly valued
