About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Winnemucca, NV. As a key member of our fleet service center, you will play a vital role in ensuring our commercial vehicles and equipment operate at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns and failures using diagnostic tools.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance according to manufacturers' specifications to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity.
  • Uphold industry standards by ensuring all repairs and maintenance work meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Write detailed inspection reports and maintain electronic maintenance logs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Solid background in diesel mechanics with experience working on Cummins and Detroit engines.
  • ASE Diesel Certification or associate degree in diesel technology highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Team player with willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience counts: bring your necessary toolkit to carry out maintenance duties independently.
