Job Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all ski and snowboard rentals. Key responsibilities include merchandising, financial oversight, supervision of sales staff, and overall management of the rental store. This role involves hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling store personnel, as well as driving sales growth, managing inventory, controlling expenses, handling cash management, and ensuring store presentation and loss prevention.

Full Time and Part Time, including Weekends and Holidays

Job Responsibilities:


As the Rental Operations Supervisor, you will manage a high-volume, seasonal rental operation, including a ski and snowboard repair/tuning center, servicing the entire resort.


Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overseeing all facets of retail and rental operations.
  • Adapting positively to uncertainty and change.
  • Leading a team of up to 50 frontline staff and a leadership team of 5-6.
  • Enhancing the guest experience by fostering a strong culture of customer service.

Daily Tasks May Include:
  • Providing consistent feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
  • Driving professional development for yourself and others.
  • Designing, executing, and tracking training plans for new associates.
  • Ensuring the department has all necessary supplies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align initiatives.
  • Creating operational plans for special events and holidays.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and developing plans accordingly.
  • Handling administrative duties.
  • Managing retail and rental inventory with a focus on cost management.
  • Hiring staff and processing payroll through a digital platform.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience - required.
  • 2 years of retail/rental experience - preferred.
  • 2 years of resort experience in a management role.
  • Knowledge and passion for snowsports.
  • Bachelor's Degree - preferred.

The expected pay range is $23.76. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on various factors.
