Traffic Sign Technician

The City of Waco is seeking a highly skilled individual to join its team as a Traffic Sign Technician. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining traffic control signs and markings on City streets.
About the Role:
- This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be responsible for delivering and picking up road closure signs and devices, assisting with setting up closures, and installing, repairing, and replacing street signs according to assigned work orders.
- Additionally, you may be required to operate lift trucks for installing overhead signs, place and burn thermoplastic for street markings, and assist in fabricating signs.

What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement is also required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Estimated Salary: $43,400 - $55,600 per year.
