Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team at AMR Corp. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Respond to Emergency Situations: Utilize your expertise to assess each call situation and determine the best course of action, working within progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Provide Advanced Medical Care: Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide advanced medical care to patients.
  • Communicate with Patients and Families: Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Lead and Manage Teams: Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Operate Ambulances: Drive ambulances on 911 responses and other emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • License and Certifications: Must have a valid State Driver's License, State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Physical Ability: Must pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
  • Experience: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
