Job Summary:

UC Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Ortho Trauma Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with traumatic injuries, including those with severe and multiple fractures, non-healing fractures, bone infections, and other complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic trauma care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
  • 2+ years of experience in orthopedic trauma or a related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
