As a Manufacturing Assembler at Synectics, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of electronic and mechanical systems. Your attention to detail and ability to follow documentation will ensure the successful completion of various projects.
- Working Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
- Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of hand tools to execute builds with precision.
- Follow detailed documentation to construct both tabletop and standalone systems, including sub-assemblies.
- Calibrate sensitive equipment and test component combinations to verify functionality.
- Build and align optical sub-systems effectively.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting before escalating issues to technical support.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly to meet customer demands.
- Engage in administrative tasks such as managing inventory control systems and documenting processes.
- Participate in projects from inception to completion, ensuring all stages are meticulously executed.
- Familiarize yourself with documentation and project specifications.
- Assist in building specific components and integrating accessories.
- Contribute to the transition of manufacturing programs to new systems.
- Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Experience in cable harness assembly and installation.
- Ability to work with sensitive materials and perform optical alignment/calibration.
- Proficient soldering skills for small components.
- Experience with micro-meter readings.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a manufacturing assembler.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook and MS Teams.
- Comfortable working in an open office environment.
- Understanding of both sub-assemblies and complete builds.
