Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized instructional support to students.
- Address the physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs of students.
- Assist students with daily living tasks and behavior management.
- Supervise students during meals, recess, and various school activities.
- Support students with special needs by adhering to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting as required by educational authorities.
Preferred Educational Background:
- High School Diploma (required); or
- An Associate's Degree or higher (preferred); or
- Some college coursework completed (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
