Position Overview:

The Staffing Operations Specialist is responsible for executing all staffing and scheduling activities, including the allocation of Staffing Office personnel through the Time and Staffing system. This role is essential for optimizing the deployment of available staff to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in an office setting is required, with prior staffing experience preferred.
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools is necessary. The ability to handle confidential information securely is crucial. Excellent communication skills with hospital staff and the capability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessments are required. Familiarity with Time and Staffing systems is preferred, along with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.
  • Preferred Skills: An associate degree or coursework in secretarial science is preferred. A combination of education and experience with advanced computer skills is necessary.
