About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Desk Associate to join our dynamic sales team at Boscov's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build customer confidence and provide accurate information to promote products through point of successful sale.
  • Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide customer service by completing customer requests and/or resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork, adhering to all company policies & procedures.
  • Make storewide announcements over public address system.
  • Handle layaway storage, maintain records, receive payments and release merchandise.
  • Gift wrap customer's purchases following company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability and desire to work well with the public, management and coworkers.
  • Communication; verbal, written and by telephone with customers, coworkers and management.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon.
  • Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.
