About the Role

The Storage Customer Service Representative will be responsible for supporting site management, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring that storage units are clean, secure, and available for new customers. Additionally, this role involves performing routine property cleanup, minor repair work, and participating in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support site management with facility operations.
  • Handle phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
  • Show storage units, explain rental agreements, and prepare contracts.
  • Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
  • Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available.
  • Participate in U-Haul education programs.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits and opportunities for advancement.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. The physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, traversing spaces, repositioning to use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 pounds assisted or unassisted.
