We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team at TekWissen Group. As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for providing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at our assigned facility.
Key Responsibilities- Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and correctly process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
- Receive materials and/or finished goods on a daily basis and verify their quality, type, and amount.
- Safely operate distribution equipment as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 0-2 years related experience, preferably in logistics with a life science company.
- Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures, instructions, and to meet schedules.
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment at various heights.
- Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
- Works in a warehouse environment under various temperatures.
- Performs work of a highly repetitive nature.
- Will walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 25lbs on a continuous basis.
- Will routinely push and pull up to 25lbs and regularly climb.
