Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our team at RTX Corporation. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, managing supplier performance, and the entire purchase order life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and issuance of RFPs
• Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements
• Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations
• Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals
• Nurture professional business relationships with first-tier subcontractors
• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups to achieve objectives
• Maintain POs to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
